Mirage
An ode to invisible nature, these tables explore the discovery of a magnolia flower in the thick branches of a marsh. As if emerging from the surface of the water, the flower gradually appears until its mirage blossoms, somewhere between dream and mysticism.
At once a totem, accentuating the elevation of this red flower, this set divides and unfolds to offer an infinite number of combinations, uses and stories.
Reinforcing the piece’s anchorage in the world of the marsh, this red flower, gradually revealing itself between the branches, plunges this piece of furniture and the straw marquetry into an organic and abundant universe.
It is also a reference to indoor window boxes, studied for many years by twentieth-century designers.
